Six outdoor courts are available with windscreens and lights so that you can play into the evening.

Private lessons or group lessons are also available through the head tennis pro or his assistants.

During the winter months, tennis is available through our reciprocal arrangements with Carriage Club and Homestead Country Club.

Pool

Oakwood's pool is open from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day each year.

In addition to the main pool, a separate infant/toddler pool is available for your little ones.  Food and beverage service is provided through our snack bar.

Oakwood competes in the Country Club Swim Association of Kansas City, a seven-week swim and dive competition each summer with nine other private clubs in the Kansas City area for children 6 to 18 years of age.  A pre-competitive program is available for children under age 6. 

Swimmers and divers compete in four meets during the season.  Following each swim meet, the swimmers, divers and their families enjoy awards and a buffet dinner at the Club that includes a theme.      

The season commences with Dive Championships and Swim Championships usually the second week of July followed by our Swim/Dive Banquet at the Club. 

Our head swim coach and staff are available for private lessons.
